After a long day of sailing the course from, Cardiff to Newport, three boats made it to the finishing line. Unfortunately, despite being a beautiful sunny day there was a lack of wind and all the boat struggled to make way. At the finishing line, Havoc from Cardiff sailing club crossed first, with Quiet Tango and Roger Ayres second, followed by Hydrojinn with Ian Donovan in third place. No other boats crossed the line. At the presentation, Newport Uskmouth Sailing club were declared the winners and retainers of the Coxy cup by Joe Cornfield (Rear Commodore).
Well done to all those who participated from both clubs, and thank you to everyone who came and supported them on the day at the start and at the NUSC club house.
