You can phone the club on Club nights (Tuesdays) between 7 and 11 pm on 01633 271417

We are situated behind Uskmouth Power station,  it is possible to approach from the water and berth at our pontoons, or, with prior arrangement via road.

The activities that are carried out here include racing in and around the Bristol Channel,  as well as cruising in company.  The Club has an established membership of many different skills and our membership is always happy to to offer advice and guidance to the novice sailor, and pass on local knowledge.

We have an active social side and the club regularly hosts gatherings and evening talks for our membership, which cover many different topics.

To maintain our interest in sailing over the winter months, we host a number of theoretical and practical courses.  These include RYA Day Skipper, Yacht master courses and The short range DSC VHF certificate.  These courses are carried out when we have sufficient interest.  These course are open to non-members and the current plan for the year can be seen under the training tag. If you are interested in attending one of the courses, please contact our training officer know.

With the rise and fall of the tide at the mouth of the river Usk, all of our moorings are dry.  The moorings are divided into two sections, for fin keelers and bilge/twin keelers.  There is a limited space for fin keelers in the Pill, which is able to support these type boats due to the depth of the soft mud.  We do have a large area that can support bilge Keel vessels.  If you are interested in bringing a boat to Uskmouth sailing club, we have two pontoons that are available for visitors.   These pontoons do dry out, so please check when approaching that you are on the pontoon that best allows for you craft.

Our Cruising captain organises a number of cruising events through the year.  These events may last a day, or, a weekend, or, a long weekend.  If you fancy sailing in company, then you can sail from the club together or join or leave at various points on the trip. To find out more visit the Cruising tag.

Our Racing Secretary organises a number of Racing events through the year.  These events include racing with other clubs and if you are keen on racing, or crewing, or watching,  find out more by visiting the Racing tag. The results of races are held in the Sailwave system for public display.

Our Dinghy Captain organises a number of Dinghy events through the year.  You can find out more by visiting the Dinghy tag.
