Access via a road vehicle requires agreement with NUSC to ensure you are expected on site via the power station.  This can be done by using the contacts us page to let us know prior to your visit when we can let the gate house know of your arrival.

From Bristol (M4 Junction  23)

• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Ringland Way/Southern Distributor

**From this location follow signs towards the RSPB National Wetlands reserve, continue past the wetlands car park,  you will approach the Power Station barrier.  There is car parking to the left of the gatehouse, please park and go to the Gatehouse reception to sign in. At the reception they will provide you with a fob to access the gates (if you have previously been approved access).

There is a speed restriction of 15 miles per hour on the site.  As directed by the Gatehouse Security Officers use your fob to go through the gates over the railway lines.  At the large building ahead of your (the cooling house) turn right following the blue sign “sailing club”, continue to  follow the road around to the compound (baring left), via a second set of security gates. After using your fob again drive forward into the sailing club. Bearing left you will find the club house, please park safely and come on in.

When you leave reverse the instructions above and remember that upon exiting the Power Station you will need to return the fob to Gatehouse Staff.
